Azan ki Dua in English Translation (Dua for Azan)

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ وَالصَّلاَةِ القَائِمَةِ آتِ سَيِّدَنَا مُحَمَّدًا الوَسِيلَةَ وَالفَضِيلَةَ وَالدَّرَجَةَ الرَّفِىْعَةَ وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ وَارْزُقْنَا شَفَاعَتَهٗ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ اِنَّکَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِیْعَادَ

(Hisn al-Muslim 25)

English Translation

“O Allah , Lord of this perfect call and established prayer. Grant Muhammad the intercession and favor, and raise him to the honored station You have promised him, [verily You do not neglect promises].”

Roman Translation

Aye Allah is kamil pukar or qaaim namaz ke rab. Muhammad (SAW) ko shafat or fazl ata farma, or unhen is muqam par faiz kar jis ka to ne un se wada kiya hay, [Beshak tu wadon se ghaflat nahi karta]

When, Where, and How Much to Recite

When to Recite:

• This dua is recited immediately after the Adhan has been completed. The mu’adhdhin (person calling the Adhan) usually recites it, and it’s also recommended for anyone who hears the Adhan to recite it.

Where to Recite:

• Anywhere. The dua is recited individually, so you can say it wherever you hear the Adhan.

How Much to Recite:

• The dua is recited once after the Adhan.
